Two boreholes at same site (old one and new one), 20 m inbetween.

MEAN ANNUAL GROUND TEMPERATURE AT OR NEAR DEPTH OF ZERO ANNUAL AMPLITUDE (°C) – report  value for most recent year or 12 month interval –0.68°C in 1993 and –0.62°C in 1999 at a depth of 10 m.

Lithology:Strata in the borehole consists of lower Cretaceous interbedding sandstone, mudstone and gravelstone, which covered by 3.8 m thick loam and sand. Relative ice content of the weathered rocks ranges from 10 to 18%.
Morphology:On north facing gentle (6 degrees in an inclination) slope of small hill in the depression.
